PRICE IS PER HEAD, NOT ENGINE. You do not need to disassemble the head. All heads are washed before and after lapping with a heated CUDA parts washer unless otherwise specified. All work is done in house and with the greatest care. Prices are based on size. The larger and heavier the head, the more tooling and fixturing is required. The same high tech processes are used with every head so a Craftsman lawnmower gets the same treatment as a Lamborghini. Prices are per head (in dollars).

Not every cylinder head is created, or damaged, equally. Some cylinder heads are so badly warped or damaged that they are impossible to be resurfaced, others simply do not have enough material left to be fully resurfaced. We make every effort to completely resurface or "clean out" the sealing surface, but in order to maintain minimum stock removal, there may be spots in non-critical areas such as the far edges or in between passageways that may remain lower than the rest of the head. The cylinder head gasket, however, may be able to close these gaps. In our experience, even partially resurfaced cylinder heads can be successfully installed depending on the depth and location of the remaining defects. If we believe we are getting too close to the cutting limit (especially to the valve seats), we will stop and ask you how to proceed. We hold no liability for cracked, damaged, heavily warped cylinder heads, or customer requests for work to continue below what we believe to be the resurfacing limit. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. All work is performed on a best-effort basis.
